Noémi Zipperling (*1991 in Frankfurt am Main) is a German violinist and chamber musician. She studied with Prof. Susanne Stoodt in Frankfurt, with Prof. Christine Busch in Stuttgart and in the quartet class of Prof. Günter Pichler in Madrid.
Noémi Zipperling is a member and co-founder of the Aris Quartet, which she joined in 2009 and with which she has since pursued an international concert career. As part of this activity, concert halls such as the Wigmore Hall London, the Konzerthaus Vienna, the Philharmonie de París, the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg and many other stages and the most important festivals are among the violinist's regular venues.
As part of the ensemble, she has also won numerous competitions, such as the "International Joseph Joachim Chamber Music Competition" in Weimar, and is a five-time prizewinner of the international ARD competition in Munich. The ensemble received the highly endowed chamber music prize of the Jürgen Ponto Foundation, the renowned Borletti Buitoni Trust Award, was named a BBC "New Generation Artist" and was included in the top-class program of the ECHO (European Concert Hall Organization).
The Aris Quartet has already released six critically acclaimed CD recordings, and its media presence includes regular broadcasts on classical radio and TV productions for BBC TV, ZDF and ARTE, NHK (Japan) and others. Recordings for Deutsche Grammophon and its STAGE+ streaming platform will follow in 2023 and 2024.
In addition to her intensive work in the string quartet, Noémi Zipperling pursues solo projects with a particular passion for the violin works of J. S. Bach. She regularly plays as a substitute in major German orchestras and meticulously pursues pedagogical work.
Noémi Zipperling has been teaching violin at the HfMDK in Frankfurt am Main since 2019 and runs her own successful solo class, whose students have already won several auditions with major orchestras. She complemented her teaching activities with a professorship at the HMDK Stuttgart as well as master classes in chamber music and regularly works with young violinists from all over the world in preparation for their aptitude test at a university.
Noémi Zipperling was a scholarship holder of the German National Academic Foundation. Today she is involved in various foundations, including as a member of the board of trustees of the "Stiftung Tannenwaldallee" Bad Homburg and is a member of the Rotary Club Bad Homburg.
